Milo Yiannopoulos, Former Kanye West Executive, Detained by ICE in Louisiana

Milo Yiannopoulos, the British political commentator and former executive associated with Kanye West, has been taken into U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody in Louisiana.

According to federal authorities, Yiannopoulos was apprehended at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport in Louisiana. He is currently being held in ICE custody pending removal from the United States.

Why Was Yiannopoulos Detained?

The Department of Homeland Security said Yiannopoulos legally entered the United States in May 2019 but later overstayed his visa.

Authorities said he failed to appear for an immigration hearing, leading an immigration judge to issue a final order of removal on July 22, 2026.

His detention is therefore an immigration enforcement matter rather than a new criminal charge.

Connection to Kanye West

Yiannopoulos has been closely associated with Kanye West, now known as Ye.
